SNAKE Court is officially open for play

SNAKE Court at Vance Park is officially open to the public! SNAKE Court at Vance Park is a pair of new futsal courts in the Rockwood neighborhood and is the first project of Fields For All, a collaboration between OPI and the Portland Timbers' Stand Together initiative. SNAKE Court is an acronym that stands for "Sports, Neighborhood, Action, Knowledge and Empowerment."

The dedication ceremony featured OPI members Shawn Levy and Josh Barrett, Gresham resident and project initiator Ricki Ruiz, Timbers owner and CEO Merritt Paulson, Timbers president of business operations Mike Golub, players Liam Ridgewell and Diego Valeri, Gresham mayor Shane Bemis, city officials, and sponsors.
